Quick way to connect to Wi-Fi LAN

Saturday 29 November 2008 @ 11:53 am

Connect with automatic setting take more time than connect with manual setting. On automatic Wi-Fi setting, the machine will communicate with Gateway to get the available IP (Internet Protocol) address on that time but different with manual setting, your machine will tell the Gateway to set your IP that you currently set the configuration without making the Gateway to resolve the available IP for you.

Download Firefox 4

Friday 2 May 2008 @ 1:38 am

Firefox is now available to test. But it is pre-pre-pre-alpha builds of Mozilla2. They are not yet
representative of what Firefox 4 will look like. These builds are not regularly tested - use at your own risk. =)

Me just stick to the stable version. Even Firefox 3beta I haven’t tested yet. For whom gonna try or already tried this, feel free to drop your experience with it here. ;)

Microsoft will stop Vista?

Thursday 24 April 2008 @ 2:25 am

Windows Vista is not being deployed by enterprise IT copanies, who claim that Vista offers minimal benefits for upgrading and very unconvinient. In my point of view, Microsoft will stop devoloping Vista and focus on developing Windows 7 and making new approach on how its handle programmes and operating system.

Good bye Vista… :-P

-i’m still stick with Windows XP. Hehehehe…..

Get rid with autorun by viruses in your pendrive (removeable drive)

Wednesday 12 December 2007 @ 3:22 am

First of all, this post is for No-ob/Novice/Amature computer user ONLY. Besides, I also no-ob, so I try my best to give what do I know about the topic.
I was observed several of my friends that have pendrive got problem with the virus that infected their pendrive eventhough their antivirus already deleted the virus (commonly *.exe file).
As far as I know, most of antivirus only delete the virus but not the autorun file that was created by it. The problem that we will get is cannot access the flashdrive, for example when we double-click
our thumbdrive icon on My Computer, “Open With” dialog will pop-up. Continue Reading »

My Little RAM

Sunday 2 December 2007 @ 12:20 am

Since I have my pc, and now laptop, the maximum RAM I ever used is 384kb (my pc RAM). And my laptop RAM more lower than that, 256MB. Set up a theme and other “heavy-weight” application for my laptop is not my thing right now. I use the fancy theme though, but it’s a long time ago. All I need just know is perfomance from my little RAM to process what I need the most. If I got 512MB of RAM, I will use the theme and what so ever again. But when I can get that? My blog still doesn’t bring any luck for my income. In fact, I’m still a student. Yes, I know I have to study more about making an income from the internet. Wish me luck =)
Back to the topic, I have a question for you. Are you same with me? Prefer performance rather than apprearance? I think you are not like me, your RAM is 512MB and above right? Shame on me. Hehehehe. But if you load your computer with needless application or what-so-ever, our computer performance will be matched. I applied everything on my computer that can optimize my performance such as, use the Classic XP theme, no animation, no wallpaper (is wallpaper affect the performance? I read one tips on how to speed up your internet connection, correct me if this method is wrong), minimizing program that start-up on Windows, disabling Windows services that I dont need, clear up shorcuts at my desktop, and increasing the virtual memory that I think might help. Now I can live happy with my “Little RAM”….

Portable Antivirus

Saturday 1 December 2007 @ 2:00 am

When I used this antivirus, handling with most of “virus” in my pendrive/flash drive become in handy.
It got simple user-interface, perfect for amature. The viruses database is automatically update and take a few minutes to complete.
It also compatible scan the whole system, but I rather use my Avast =)
Its size only 194 KB (EXE Version 1.5.315), perfectly to share to your friend, and need no installation. Double-click, and ready to war ^^
Don’t worry it’s totally free.
